Is it really a rip off to study Hemodialysis Nurse Certification?

Published

I'm a BSN, Its going to take me a while before I can take the Nclex Rn exam because I'm still waiting for my other documents. I decided to study dialysis tech because I want to become a Dialysis nurse. Once I finish my dialysis tech my plan is to study again( upgrade my studies) into hemodialysis nurse to get some certificate. I read in this forum that its a rip off to study dialysis tech and hemodialysis nurse certification. Is it true?? pls. help.

Just passed my CNN. I spend like $400 including registration and review materials. I would not consider that a rip off considering its a certification of your area of specialty. It was all worth it. So glad i took it.:yeah:

You can't become certified until you have a year's worth of dialysis experience so I don't think you need to worry about studying at this point. Alot of the material will make more sense after you have been working awhile. Good luck.

Well all i want is to have a good resume. I think I made a right choice studying dialysis tech., its a good background if I really want to become dialysis nurse :) thanks guys
