volunteer at another hospital? Im just wondering.

It wasnt on my resume when I faxed it over. I have an interview and am wondering if I should mention it in the interview seeing that I have no medical experience save for clinicals and the volunteering.

Watcha think?

Thanks.

p.s. Ive been applying at the hospital I vol. at also. no calls yet.

I think it's fine.

They wouldn't spite you just because you volunteered at a "competitor" hospital. If they would, I wouldn't want to work there anyways.

If anything, it shows your dedication.

Go for it.

Thanks.

I just thought of something... Do you think it would be ok to continue volunteering (1 day a week coupled hrs) or quit if I got the job.

Volunteering where?

Volunteering at the place you would currently be employed at? No. Not good, even if it were allowed.

Volunteering at the other facility? Possibly. If you like the facility so much that you want to continue there, that's fine, but I honestly don't see you wanting to after you have worked as a CNA. A vast majority of people say they want to continue volunteering after getting a CNA job but it very rarely works out.
