Good for you Cerda to have an interest in nursing! :)

Conversions and metrics will ultimately be of use in nursing however I would not let this distract you from your current studies. To be honest with you more than any curriculum you could possibly learn before choosing nursing I would advise you to volunteer at a local hospital/facility/office to see what nurses do to care for patients day to day.
