Is it ok to lie in a interview about how you lost your job?

I know if I say the reason why I got fired, I will never land a job anywhere. But 2 weeks ago, I had a phone from HR director at a hospital in houstton, texas. So, is it ok or will the potential employer find out? My previous experience was in a LTC nursing home type facility.

I'll find a job at a different hospital in Houston. I mean like that hospital I didnt really like it anyway. It was kind of small and my career setting is supposed to be a major large hospital. Oh well! Also, Can we get a Staff to delete this thread? Thanks!
