I'm looking for some advice here about my schedule :) I am currently set to start Nursing School right on time, Spring 2016.
Since we are a traditional BSN program, it is recommended that we complete all non nursing classes before starting the program.
In the one semester I have left before I begin the program, these are the prerequisites and gen eds I have left to complete.
-Anatomy & Physiology- 5 credits
-Microbiology- 3 credits
-Professional Nursing (History)- 2 credits
- The Consumer (online class)- 3 credits
- Intro to Fashion & Merchandising- 3 credits
Overall: 16 credits
Would this be possible to do? I am a traditional college student (no kids, no spouse, I live in the dorms, ect)
I wanted to take summer classes, but none of these classes are available to the local community college (that will transfer over)
Advice?? ðŸ˜

I'm sure it's possible. But I definitely wouldn't do that if I didn't have too. That's a pretty huge load.

I found that when completing my pre-reqs, the more I could do online the better. That being said, for what you have left that is a pretty big load to take with A&P. Is there anything that you could possibly take concurrently or all of those have to be done before? Perhaps taking one course online per semester would be better if you could. If you can't and that's the way you absolutely have to do it, time management is going to be key for you. Setting up times to study each topic.

Why do you have to take fashion/merchandising and the consumer?
Are these electives?
Ps micro and a&p will kick your butt. I'd space them out. Can you take one at a local community college over summer?
Thanks for everyone's opinions :) I am required to take all those classes in order to complete the prerequisites, gen eds, and the honors portion of my program. I do not live near this school during the summer, only a community college. The community college near me does not offer the equivalent of any of these classes... BUT I just found another community college 40 minutes away that I can take Microbiology at. I will be taking Micro over the summer, therefore my credit load will be down to 13 in the Fall. Thanks to everyone for their opinions- you guys inspired me to keep looking for more options! :)
