Hi! I'm new on here, so sorry if it's been posted already. I'm looking for any tips/recommendations when looking for a good (accredited) LVN program here in CALIFORNIA. I currently live in the Thousand Oaks area, but I'm willing to drive a bit if it's a good school. Bonus points if it's through an ROP program or on the cheaper side. I work full time graveyard shift as a CNA and I can't really afford to quit my job while pursuing my passion. So is the ~$30k I would be indebted in not worth it for LVN altogether? Should I just go straight for my RN,BSN or do I have a better chance at making it in with my LVN? Can I work as an LVN while pursuing BSN? Open to any advice. Thanks in advance!

This is my plan. I just graduated from my LPN program in December. Waiting to take board but in the meantime I am finished prerequisites to eventually go onto my RN. Everyone has their own path. This was best for me. You'll have to decide what is best for you.
That my initial plan. Do you plan on working as an LVN to put you through RN?

I am a LVN. My goal was to graduate LVN, and then pursue RN. Well, I got into school nursing and honestly for me, there was no reason to go back to school. At least for right now.
