I have just started my 2nd term in the LVN program. I always knew LVN jobs are a bit hard to find. I kind of getting discouraged hearing people say that they're having a hard time getting hired.
I don't know if I should continue and see how it goes. I was taking RN pre-requisites, but the college ALWAYS ran out of room and was there for 3 years waiting. I do plan on going for my RN after this, but DO need to find an LVN job once I'm done.
Should I quit and find any job and continue RN pre-requisites? Or continue and hope I find a job? I have been a CNA for two and a half years, but I don't know if that makes a difference.
I don't mind home-health...is that a better chance of getting hired once I'm done with my LVN?
Ughhh...there's just no demand for LVNS as I am told, especially in California.

you already started so finish the lpn program. even new grad rns are having a hard time as well. you will find a nursing job eventually. start networking now during your clinicals and make good impressions with staff and nursing managers.
did you quit your cna job? if so start working as a cna again while you are still in school so that you will get your foot in the door. ask if they hire within (they should).
good luck with school. finish school and worry about this later. even other jobs are the same. i have a friend who graduated with bachelors in finance last december and still no job up to now. he is still working as a pct at a dialysis clinic.
