Is my GPA good enough?

Hello, I am currently a Biology major, but am planning on switching to Pre-Nursing. I just finished my 1st semester of college and got a 3.58 GPA. I was just wondering, if I continuously average a 3.5-3.6 GPA, would it be enough to get me into a Nursing School. I've heard around my campus that people who get lower than a 3.8 GPA should just plan on switching majors. Are there any schools you would recommend me applying to and is my GPA good enough for most Nursing Schools? (Currently in San Jose State University)

That's exactly what my cumulative GPA was for my pre-reqs and so far, I've been accepted to 4 of the 5 schools applied to! Still waiting on the 5th one to make a decision! But you shouldn't have a problem. And you still have time to get your GPA even higher. Get involved in things like volunteer work or get your CNA. Those kinda of things will make you stand out more.

I live in Nebraska and applied to all the schools in my area. Not sure where you live or how far you'd consider moving but I can tell you where I applied and was accepted!

I have only applied to nebraska methodist. 3.3 for overall GPa and 3.67 on maths and sciences. The admissions seemed confident but l find out next week.
