Is Baker College in Flint Accredited ?

U.S.A. Michigan

Published

I'm getting ready to try and get into a local Nursing program. The wait list for Mott Community college is really long. While UofM Flint is very expensive. I've been considering Baker College in Flint, but I've heard a rumor that they are not accredited..

Is this true?

I've already been through the ringer once, with an unaccredited school and I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Can anyone help me out with information.

I'm sure that no one here wants to see you go thru the ringer a second time, which is why you should do your own thorough research on any program you may consider attending.

Accreditation and Approval are 2 terms that are often used inter-changably, although they mean 2 different things with different implications for your education. Please learn about these terms, then find out if the program has either or both designations. You can do this by meeting with a representative from the school and by researching the program with your state board of nursing. This will help you to make informed decisions about your education, something far too important to leave to well meaning strangers on the internet.

I'd like to close this topic. I've decided not to attend this school. There is a much better option!

Thanks for the help.
