Is anyone waiting for an acceptance letter from Lamar University

Im kind of frustrated with Lamar University. I have all my pre reqs done for both ADN and BSN, the deadline for the applications was March 1, but they are letting everyone have until the end of summer 1 which is July 2. So I am very upset that the people that had everything done by the origional deadline, (like me) has to wait and maybe placed lower on the list. So does anyone know when they are going to send the first picks letter out. I was told that only 140 students applied for both ADN and BSN for fall 2009. I know that they want to remain competative but come on 60 are being accepted for BSN and I don't know about the ADN but if its 60 also that means only 20 will be denied. Why can't they just accept everyone that qualifies. I am 31 with a husband and child, Im not getting any younger I WANT IN!!!
