I'm only asking because I'm interested to know if it's possible to manage working as a Cna plus be in school, and "survive" so to speak? I also know that the starting pay can be low in some places.

I am in North Florida and I can tell you that is pretty much impossible. You would probably need two CNA jobs just to make your bills. I work nights in a hospital so that would give me some edge in even trying to attempt that, but it simply would just not work. If you are looking for a CNA job for patient care experience I would say go for it, but if you need a steady income to pay bills I would find something more financially stable.
