Is anyone familiar with the MedCap Wells Fargo Student loan?

I am a novice when it comes to student loans. I am starting my accelerated program next week and still need to fine tune how I am going to pay for school. I don't have a credit worthy cosigner handy so I have been doing all the leg work myself. This is a change of career for me so I already have a credit history, good credit and past income. The program requires for me to not work so I am a bit nervous

Unfortunately, I didn't get approved for Sallie Mae or Citibank but made some progress with Wells Fargo MedCap. The program is $60,000 for 15 months bsn at Wagner College. I was a bit worried about getting rejected so I only applied for $40,000, since I am also getting some money from Stafford loans and have some savings. But after talking to my school they reminded me that I didn't factor in my living expenses. My loan said waiting for certification from the school yesterday but today I changed my amount with Wells Fargo to $75,000 and this should cover my living expenses for the entire program. The bank said they are reviewing my application and I should hear from them in a few days in regards to filling out extra documentation. I am a bit scared that I won't get approved now, does anyone have any experience with these type of things or this loan? :nurse:

I also applied with Wells Fargo. I applied for $40,000 and did not have a problem with the money being distributed. I have good credit and also had to do all the leg work on my own. Every time I had a question, I made sure to call them and ask a bunch of questions. I asked them to explain everything to me because all the paperwork can get a bit confusing. Don't be afraid to call and ask for an update. Many time they help you on the spot and you don't have to wait. I have since graduated from nursing school, and have started paying them back. Its quite easy. They really work with you. :)
