I submitted a resume' online to LHC a couple months ago and got a call last Friday to interview for a HH LPN position this coming Wednesday. Is anyone on AN familiar with them, or know anyone who works/has worked for them? Thanks in advance!
Decided not to go to the interview. Too many bad reviews. Not even three out of five star rating. Been there, done that. Don't want to leave a bad situation for a worse one.

I'm sorry I just found this. I think it depends on where you are located and which branch of LHC group you are looking at. I worked in their home health agency here in San Antonio and really liked it however our census dropped drastically and I wasn't getting enough work. I found that of all the home health agencies I've worked at their method of paying/tracking the hours put in by their field staff was the fairest one for the staff I've seen yet. It's frustrating at first but once you work with it you begin to realize how much of your time other agencies are getting free of charge!
Thank you KatL. This particular branch has a large turnover rate of nurses. Another reason I decided to just stay where I am for now. I work in a clinic with stable hours, Mon-Fri, 10 holidays per year, 30 PTO/sick/vacation days per year and decent benefits. I'm still looking around as the clinic I work in is quite disorganized, but I like the hours and benefits.
Good luck! The job market has gotten a lot more competitive lately and employers are really thorough in so far as they are doing full blown criminal background checks on top of possible finger printing and definitely drug testing every candidate.
