Is anyone familiar with Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone out there works for or is familiar with Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan? It was one of the 100 Best Companies to work for in "Working Mother" magazine. I wanted to know if it truly is a great place to work, and how the medical support staff is treated...I would love to get in there as a CNA, then work my way into nursing, but just to get a foot in the door....;)

I work as a Nurse Practitioner at Bronson Hospital and I have found it to be everything that it says it is. I truly feel like a valuable employee and the administration goes out of it's way to let you know that they appreciate you. The CMAs in my office are invaluable and I would strongly encourage you to check it out!

I work for Bronson hospital as a nurse and have to say they are wonderful to their employees. They do the little extra things for the employees to maintain their drive for recruitment and retention, and treat us as people not a number. They really try to work with the employees to help with the demands of working mothers and fathers along with family. I have worked with different organizations and have never found this great and positive effort in any other institution. In this day and age of nursing shortages, cutbacks, and how employers treat the employees, I must say Bronson Hospital is miles above the rest in how they treat their employees.
