IRSC RN Program Fall 2020

Hey! I am also a first time applicant to the RN program at IRSC. I am taking the NLN this Sunday, any tips? I've been studying the red book and have the official PAX app that I've been doing a ton of practice questions with.

What score did you end up getting if you don't mind me asking?

Hi! Yes the red book I studied a ton, that seemed to help. There were quite a few questions directly from that science portion on the test. I got a 128. Total points of 148. So we shall see. Applied kind of last minute just to get the process going and keep myself motivated LOL! Good luck!

Awesome! I have 32 points from A&P and micro so just waiting on my NLN to decide my total. When taking the test did you need to put a mirror behind you? I saw in the instructions that you need to have a mirror to show the sides of the computer. What did you use?

Oh that’s awesome! No mirror they just made me pick up my laptop and show them the room.

Took the NLN yesterday, scored 139 so my total is 171. That was way harder than I expected! Hopefully good enough to get into the program. Fingers crossed.

I’ve also taken the NLN on the 28th. Science portion was way more in depth than I thought. I would have spent more time on that portion. Questions on the exam that are not in the book. Study waves table. Did well and just keeping my fingers crossed. 152 on nln

Has anyone received an updated score on the schools website? still waiting on mine.

Awesome score on the NLN btw! But I just checked and mine hasn’t updated either. I was in contact with Diane Camacho a couple days ago and she said they are reviewing everything now, we should know by the end of the month.

Thanks. I figured it may take a little longer due to the delay in testing. I’ll be hoping for the best for all of us.

I tried checking my application status to see if the points have updated but the whole site has changed and I can't find the application. Anyone else have this problem??
