Hi,
Took the NLN RN and got a 149 composite. What I'm confused about is on the IRSC point scale, it says that for the NLN, you can get from 50-99 points maximum for your NLN. How is this interpreted? In the new report format for the NLN test results (I just took the NLN on August 1, 2011), there is only a composite score listed and then your percentages for each of the 3 subject areas for math, science, and language. Can anyone who has recently taken the NLN help? Thanks.

I don't have the answer to your question, but I wanted to know your opinion of the test in general, is it similar to the TEAS? (if you've taken it). I live in Brevard County and had to t take the TEAS. I'm still awaiting a call back from my advisor to hear if I've been accepted or not, but meanwhile looked into IRSC's nursing program. I was surprised that the TEAS was not required!
I've never taken the TEAS. For the NLN: I'd say for me the math and verbal were pretty easy but the science was kinda tough, and I've had all the prereqs. The thing that was tough for me is that there was a lot of Physics on the test and I haven't had Physics since high school--22 years ago! However, I got the NLN study guide that comes from the National League of Nursing and read it several times and did the practice tests and that helped a lot. May want to supplement some extra Physics study from a good website, though. Good luck!

I believe they will take the points from the AD score. How did you do on that one?
