Iona University ABSN

Hello! I'm thinking about applying to Iona College's new Accelerated BSN program in New York (NY). I read that there is a Fall 2020 cohort going through the new program right now. Is anyone currently attending the program? How is it? Anyone else planning to apply as well?

Has anyone else heard from admissions? And does anyone know how the program (since it is new) is going for current students?

I reached out April 8 and they said the committee is still looking through applications and will have more decisions within the next two weeks but maybe it is taking a bit longer than that.

Since Concordia is closed for nursing , they don’t have spots left really, I withdrew my application because the two weeks turned into months and I had other offers

OMG really??? I haven't had any email answered either. I assumed they'd be expanding because of this. Welp, at least I know not to dwell too much on this round.

made A’s in all pre reqs 

I do have an F on my transcript because of organic chem which is why my GPA is so low

Hey guys, I just got accepted into their program in the beginning of the month and I already paid my deposit fee. Did anyone else get or know what the next things we have to do as far as the compliance list and school supplies?

do you really have to have all B's in the pre reqs...I got a C in chem welp

Yes, they only accept B or higher. Mercy College in the Bronx and Dobbsferry accepts C or higher but I would highly suggest to retake Chem again because the likelihood of them having more applicants with stronger grades is very high and you’re application will be rejected.
