This is going to be an ongoing series starting today. It exposes the care that is given in many, many dialysis facilities. Has your unit received word from corporate yet?

I heard an interview with the medical director of CMS about this on public radio yesterday. V. interesting. Looks like the gov't is finally going to start clamping down and holding organizations accountable (IMO, that's long overdue).
If you go to the ProPublic site they have all the series of articles as well as the KCP damage control press release. you can also go to fixdialysis.com to see other comments and billpeckham.com ofcourse, renalweb.com also has all that anyone in dialysis wants to know.
This has really hit hard and the comments are worth looking at. The level of concern for patient safety is apparent.
This is of great interest to those working in dialysis. Be prepared for upcoming changes
