Hi everyone,I have been a member of allnurses for quite some time but I do much more reading than posting. I have been an RN for six years and an FNP for 2. I really like what I do and I love being able to spend time with patients and educate them.
I decided to start a blog with the eventual goal of starting some type of business (health coaching? nutrition counseling?) one day. My blog is directed towards the general population with a focus on wellness and prevention. And if there are any seasoned nurse bloggers out there, I would appreciate any tips/advice!
TY! :)

Hi there! My advice- go for it! You can totally do this- I did, at Home - nursecode.com. Start with wordpress.org. It's intuitive and you don't need to know html code. I wrote a few articles before I started sharing my posts on social media, so there would be a few reading choices for visitors.
There is a learning curve, of course, but you will learn as you go, trust me! I have found that the nurse bloggers out there tend to help each out.
Take a look at others' sites and you will learn that way as well. Good luck!
