Intrigued by this Coursera Vital Signs Course

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

So I watched my first 4 lectures online last night for the Coursera vital signs course. It is basically anatomy and physiology and we learned all about the heart, its chambers, vessels and how it works and also learned the basics on reading an EKG. I wanted to keep going through all of the lectures, i was so interested but i decided to go to bed. Tonight ill fet into monitoring heart rate etc. Is anyone else taking this course? What do you think? I am taking AP 1 in the fall and think that taking this course will really put me ahead!

Professor Fink on YouTube also has a semester's worth of both anatomy and physiology lectures and notes. That's how I'm reviewing for the fall.

I might check this out. Just added a couple A&P courses on iTunes U to start reviewing (more) but I'm not really into watching videos on my phone, too distracting for my little ADHD brain haha.

How did everyone do in their first week of the course? It was a ton of information to go over, kind of a hard start for a course like this. Even so, I made a couple stupid mistakes on the quiz but I got 17/20. The case study was actually pretty difficult to wrap my head around, too. I'm meeting this next quiz with studying before I take it, not just reviewing the notes a couple days before and ignoring it the rest of the time. (I am not a smart woman... sometimes.)
