Hello all! I hope you may have some advice for me. I am interviewing for a Nurse Case Management position this week. I am currently working as nurse supervisor/IV nurse in a home health agency. I have some ER experience (completed preceptorship/training before moving out of state). I jumped into home health after graduating in may of last year. Home health however has prepared me greatly for case management. I made a connection with the company I am applying for because I met one of there CMs through one of my home health patients and she recommended me for the job and told me to apply. I did and now I have an interview! I am extremely nervous d/t lack of experience in CM and only graduating back in May. Does anyone have any advice on what to expect throughout the interview process? Anyone interview/work with Genex Services?
I appreciate your help!

Why not ask the nurses that encouraged you to apply for the job? I think they will be able to give you detailed examples of what to expect on the job, what to expect from the company, and what to expect in an interview with the company. Right?
I did ask her! And she was very helpful :-) I just like to get as much information as possible, maybe from ppl who might not be biased about the company.
Ah, I see. Well, in my experience, bias sometimes is a good hint of bad or good working environments in Nursing. You will be surprised how often the inside people are correct about both, especially if you come across more than one person who reports the same information. Hopefully, others on here can also contribute to your research so that you can make an informed decision. Good luck.
Thank you! And she was very insightful. I'm thankful she was able to help. I guess I just have common nerves for anyone about to interview! I'm also nervous because I have no case management experience. Some, from being a nurse supervisor for my home health agency. Wasn't too sure what to expect.
