Interviewed for a NICU position-hopeful :)

Just wanted to share. I had an interview for a new grad NICU RN position! THey said they were interviewing 7 people for 3 positions- I guess those are good odds! (a friend interviewing for L&D said they told her they were interviewing 20 people for 5 positions)

It is a 55 bed NICU, not sure what level it is, though. They do have micropreemies, ECMO, always full, next closest NICU is 2 hours away. THey don't do organ transplants or infant dialysis though.

I am quite excited, and hope to be able to come here and tell ya'll I'm a NICU nurse too soon!

okay, excited rant over :)

Really hope you get it!

sending many good luck vibes your way... :)

Wow! That's a huge NICU! Where I'm starting (June 6th'll be my first day) it's a 40 bed unit and has over 120 nurses on staff! Sounds like a really busy and interesting place to be. I'm sending positive energy your way and hope you get the offer!!
