Interview at State Nursing Home

I have an interview at a state nursing home and would like to have some ?'s ready to ask them about their facility.

I am gathering that the population that will be in my charge are dementia patients. So.. I know a bit of what that can be like for a hospital pop and what we may utilize to keep patients and staff safe; chemical & mechanical restraints, bed alarm, fall risk factors, frequent rounds.. et..

How will this differ in nursing home where patients are housed in a locked wing?

What are some of the meds for patients with dementia? I think halodol can be used for agitation vs. valium which may be unsafe for dementia.
