Also, consider being a substitute prior to taking on a full time position. I was a sub in multiple schools (elementary, middle & high school) for 6 months. This enabled me to see how other nurses had their offices set up and I got to work directly with various age group's. I was suprised to learn that I prefered the older students and working with the faculty in high schools. I absolutely did not enjoy working in the elementary schools. The children were cute but the parent's were difficult and the teachers were emotional.

I'm a new grad and I have an interview tomorrow for an RN position at an elementary school. I do have my reservations about it, especially as a new grad, but that's a whole different story. Anyway, figured I'd give it my all anyway in this interview. Can anyone give me a heads up what type of questions you've experienced? Is it the typical "Why do you want to work here?" or more behavioral type questions? It's with the principal too if that matters at all. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
