interview at madigan next week

I have an interview at madigan army hospital next week and i could use all the help to prep for the interview, like what is is about madigan that offers more than a civillian hospital, things like that. also what sort of things will i encounter as a civillian? thanks so much!

Importance of supporting the soldiers chain of command.

Be aware that you care for the soldier but can also care for dependents and retirees.

I would emphasize your desire to work in a high quality hospital and your desire to support members of the military.

when i spoke to the nurse manager she told me that this is the general surgery clinic, that its the pre op but they would train me on endoscopy, conscious sedation, and minor procedures. I guess that what impresses me most is their willing to train me on things a RN anywhere else would be doing. There seems to be more opportunities for an LPN to train and advance. I wonder what its going to be like when I get my RN there. How can I articulate this without being too eager because we really need this job opp.

Totally off subject, but my daughter was born at Madigan in 1987!! I hear they have rebuilt since then!! We were Army dependants!! Beautiful state and such a nice area to live in- can you tell I miss it!!!!
