Interview Issues

Hi everyone, I just graduated from nursing school in September and have been applying to jobs since August. I have had one interview so far which is what my question is about. The nurse manager seemed to like me, and after my shadow day told me that she would love to hire me but had to wait to give me a definite answer due to there being other applicants. A week later, she called me and left a message telling me she wanted to give me an update on what was going on and to call her back or e-mail her. I called her back soon after but she was not there so I sent an e-mail. After a couple of days, I heard nothing back so gave her another call and left a voicemail. Still nothing. It is now almost a week later since she initially called me and I am going crazy!! I would have no hope left at all if it wasn't for her giving me that phone call, which to me seemed like she hadn't forgotten me yet and I may have a chance still. I just don't understand, it doesn't make sense. Where the hospital is located there have been many electrical outages (I am on the east coast) since the snow storm over the weekend, perhaps it has something to do with that? I don't know what to think anymore.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!
