Interview Friday and I'm stressing...

Published

I have an interview at UTChat on Friday and the closer it gets the more UNintelligent I'm feeling.

It's a control thing, I know. I am a great type-A nurse for it, though. I just have a hard time not knowing what they may ask about. I agree with someone else I read on the board...it feels like I'm studying for my CCRN all over again.

I think my biggest concern comes with the questions they ask about the "interesting pt" you had. I don't know if they ask about judgement calls, the meds, how I felt, etc... I felt fine until today, but now I'm just plain wound up.

It would help a lot if a student at (or who went to) UTChat could share what they know about the interview they had. Is it the same questions all the time or do they change it up?

Ugh. I could go on and on, but I'll spare everyone.

Good luck to everyone going through the process and a big 'ol CONGRATS to those who've been accepted!

I know how you feel. I have an interview today at Wake Forest and then one tomorrow at Raleigh School of Anesthesia. I'm nervous as heck and I know that's something they look for so I'm trying to chill out ... it's just that it means so much and I don't want to mess it up!

Good luck to you! Let us know how it goes!

Let us know how the interview goes..... Tips... Advice...?

Thanks in Advance

Smessen...

How did your interviews go? I hope they went well. Let us know.

CCUROB...

I'll spill it when I'm done. I would love for someone to let ME know. lol!

My interview was in the am. When was yours? How did your interview go at UTC?

I didn't have the greatest feeling about it. the panel seemed to veer off their standard course by the time they got to us.

How about you?

Good Luck SuperSleeper...when do you find out if you've been accepted?

I interviewed at a different school, but I too felt ill about my interview when I left. I think I came up with a better answer for every question on the way home from my interview and felt like I was gonna puke when I did finally make it home.

But on the bright side, I was accepted and start next month. I hope you will have the same success.

Good Luck!!
