Hi had my interview for the RN programme on tuesday. It really caught me off guard as they called me 3pm the day before the interview. They usually send a letter two weeks in advance in july so i was surprised. Then they said no jeans so i had to rush to buy a suite that same evening before the stores close at 4:30pm.Usually they don't care what you wear as long as it's decent.Another thing i see they changed was how the interview was conducted. They usually interview about 25 people on different days but this time they did everyone on the same day which is about 300 applicants for only 60 available spaces. They asked 1 million questions but i was prepared as i learnt from last year.So wish me luck this year as i would hate to have to wait till next year again.Anyone else had there's yet?

So I take it that you had an interview last year. It would be appreciated if you could post the kind of questions that are asked.

.What does a nurse do?
.Why do you want to become a nurse?
.what qualities do you possess that would make you a good nurse?
.Explain why you should be allowed in the nursing programme?
.What are the different types of nursing?
.What field would you choose and why?
.People only see nurses as tending to the sick but what do they do for the well?
.What types of programmes(eg.A&P)make up the nursing programme?
