Mine had a lot of situational questions: Your co-worker shows up to his/her shift reaking of alcohol, what do you do? kind of questions. I recommend you dress nice and professional, try to let them know how serious you are, what type of support system you have, things like that. I don't know what your strong suits are, but play them up if you can. At the end of my interview, I was able to ask questions and, during that time, I tailored my questions to play myself up: student only, no job, great support in husband, Honors program, 4.0 (the interviewers in my school don't know your GPA), etc.....
Good luck.

After getting rejected from my first-choice program this morning, this afternoon my second choice called and requested an interview.
I've been told this is a good thing, since they don't normally interview prospective students, that it means they're seriously considering me but need a little something extra to help aid in making a final decision. My question is for those who've been through nursing school interviews before: how should I prepare, and what sorts of questions are normally asked?
Thanks for any help you can give!
