Yes, it's a good thing you want to check it out at least, who knows, this could be a good second job, even if part time.

Ok...about the way you dress, it doesn't matter you're applying for a job in a jail, you still have to look professional, so...

And about the questions you should ask, think well before going to the interview. Don't ask more than two, three maximum. Let the questions relate to your relationship with and performance within the company.

Thanks for the advice. The interview went ok I guess. Its only 3 days a week with no benefits besides some PTO. I could work my factory job around their schedule and work 6 days a week most weeks. If I do get the job, I just figured out I could at least pay all my monthly bills for now and have a little left over to start getting caught up on credit cards. The problem is, in about 5 months, when my student loans come due, I won't be able to pay them. I could always defer them, but the one is a bank loan that keeps adding interest. I could always consolidate around the time my payments start. It would be a lot easier to find a full-time job that pays better and hopefully has some tuition reimbursement. But I don't know if I'll be able to find one, I probably should call the nursing homes and check the status of my apps. But then again, if I got the jail job, it would be experience and possibly lead to full-time later. They don't do a lot of nursing skills there though, mostly passing meds and assessments...
