Intertational nurse advice

Hello everyone, I'm an international nurse who passed the NCLEX the last month, I obtain my license by the New York board of nursing. After heard a lot agencies in my country (Mexico), I found out that almost all of them just see you as an amount of money instead a human being. 

I'm currently applying to different job offers, but I don't obtain any interview yet. I feel a little bit lost about continuing looking by myself or doing the process with an agency because I had some bad experiences with the ones that exists here in Mexico. 

Please could you give me an advice por any kind of information that can help me about what are some reliable international nursing staff agencies in usa?.
