I heard that u can get your hospital sponsor GC or H1B visa if u become RN? why do u think it will be difficult?

Aug 18, 2008 what u mean? can u explain some more plz? I heard that u can get your hospital sponsor GC or H1B visa if u become RN? why do u think it will be difficult?Check out the International forum and threads on retrogression (no visas)Basically the US has had this since Oct 2006 and it is affecting all nurses foreign trained or International US students. There are no visas to adjust your status for GC and even if you find a employer willing to petition you they can only file I140 which does not give permission to stay in the US and work. H1b is for specialists and if you have just qualified then you do not come under that and due to recent investigations of H1b and not being used correctly it is under scrutiny. It is worked out on place of birth but even if not from one of the PIC countries you have a long wait. (PIC Philippine, India and China)
