Second Courser from US

World International

Hello to all the second courser students or graduates that went home to study nursing. Share your experience and where you working at (US)?

Just do a search here, there are already many threads posted here. And some concerns that you need to be aware of. Such as even if you hold a US passport, or a green card, and go back home to study, you will always be considered as a foreign grad and will need to meet the requirements for the state where you wish licensure as such. And that usually means a much longer time before you can even sit for the NCLEX exam. Some states will require that you go thru the CES process with CGFNS, and a few others will require you to take the CGFNS exam before being permitted to take the NCLEX.

And remember that Philippines is thinking of reinstatuting the internship again, and that will add on another year for you before you could come to the US.

Training there right now for the second course programs does not have the clinical training as you would get in the US and facilities are well aware of that. Please take the time to do some reading here before you sign on the dotted line with any program there. And if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
