Mental Health Nursing in New Zealand

I'm new to the forum and was hoping for some advice regards working abaroad as a Mental health Nurse. I qualifmied in 2008 with a diploma in mental health nursing but am unsure if this is sufficient to work in New Zealand or Australia. I was considering upgrading to a mental health degree or returning to study a diploma in general nursing but wonder if this is necessary. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Emma ;)

Where did you train? May have an impact on whether your training is acceptable in NZ or Australia

Training in the UK you may find your training is accepted by NZ and Australia, the only real way to find out is either contact them and ask them or submit a application and see what they come back with.
