Make up courses for US registration

I am currently working as a registered nurse in Brisbane Australia. I want to go to the states to work but before I can even apply I need to make up hours is a couple of areas. I need 40 hours theory and 80 hours practical in an undergraduate course, from a registered nursing school in both paediatrics and obstetrics. I am having absolutely no luck finding courses, except courses where I have to find my own practical placement, this is very hard to do. If anyone knows of any courses that might be suitable please, please, please let me know. Thanks.

You can go to a number of schools in the US as a guest student, under an F1 visa.

What is a guest student? and how do you go about becoming one? also is it self funded??

You apply as what we call as guest student, since you would only be taking two courses, and your degree would still come from your original school. You would not get a degree from that school. You would be responsible for the costs, so funding is done by you.

You have to selelct a school that you would like to attend and apply to go there. Also take into account that you would not be permitted to work during that time. US law doesn't allow it.
