Hi! I am an overseas nurse who is currently holding a student visa with no working hours. I just received my NMC decision letter and now i am looking for a sponsor who is willing to provide me a tier 2 working visa and overseas nursing programme. I am having a hard time looking for one because most of the hospitals here in the UK are looking for candidates that have experience in a healthcare setting in the UK. Unfortunately i can not apply even as a HCA in a healthcare facility because of my visa status. Can any one help me or suggest on what should i do? Any comment is much appreciated. Thanks!

Moved to the Immigration forum as many UK nurses will not be aware of immigration requirements

I think you will find it hard to get a hospital to sponsor you for a tier 2 visa. There are a lot of nurses in the uk currently without jobs.
