Hi all,
I'm a second year nursing student in Israel. I am also an American and want to pursue my nursing career in the States once i'm done with school here. I know I will have to take the RN-NCLEX and get an American nursing license.
My question is, from your experience or knowledge -
Do you think I should stay in Israel for several years after graduating and gain some experience? Or will it be possible for me to get a job as a new graduate with no experience other than student-nurse? (I work as a student-nurse on a large med-surg floor in a major hospital).
I know it seems like a long time from now but if I do wish to move to the States right after my Israeli NCLEX I will need to start caring for my partners Greencard pretty soon, and If I need to stay and gain experience it can wait a while.
Please share you wisdom! :)
Thank you so much.
