i am a nurse who is on student visa and now into BSN program. problem is i worked on PTO for a year full time. but once i start my RN to BSN studies according to my visa status i can only work part time. it is really hard to pay my fee and live on the money i will make part time. i have cut on rent, internet, cable but still its a struggle and hard to live on with less than 50 bucks for two weeks. does any other international student in usa have a clue on what i can do to make some extra money from somewhere??

I thought that international students had to show that they had enough money to cover their school and living costs in order to get a student visa. Am I misinformed about that?

You are not alone! I would suggest getting the letter from homeland stating that your circumstances have changed (hello:recession) and therefore you need to work at least full time.
if all else fails: how bout getting someone to co-sign a loan for you..i know its hard....
Scholarships?
I wish you the best!!!!
