I got accepted into the University of Arizona's Integrative Health BSN program. The lectures are all online but the students meet in person for clinical work. I am curious as to how other schools (like grad schools or medical schools) will look at how UA holds these classes, do any of you have any thoughts?

What scores for hesi did you apply with and what gpa?

I got into UofA's BSN-IH program, as well! I was also concerned about the online classes / in-person clinical skills components, as online courses for a BSN program may be difficult. However, most nursing programs are transitioning and adopting online class components because of the demand for online learning. UofA's regular BSN program has some online-only nursing classes, too.

I don't think this will make a difference to grad schools given the great reputation of UofA's nursing programs. It will probably come down to how well we are able to tackle the online classes and integrate that learning into our nursing practice. I'm thinking that the IH program may be helpful when I apply to grad schools -- they like their students to be well-rounded, and we have the advantage of having received holistic-based teaching!

@anniezenin I would LOVE to meet other students before the program starts!! I'm planning on accepting the offer at UofA! I got into ASU's nursing program as well, but I'm going to withdraw my acceptance at ASU as soon as UofA emails us the BSN-IH acceptance packet and I can finalize my spot (hopefully this week!) ?
