I dream of being a nurse on a daily basis. I am starting school this fall in a week or so and hopefully will be a nurse within the next five years. Today my two and a half daughter fell and cracked her head open on a concrete step. She had to get three stitches. The doctor and nurse where so patient and gentle with her, it really warmed my heart. It really does take a special person to be in this field and I personally cannot wait to be a part of it. Thank you to all of you nurses out there who continue to make a difference in peoples' lives and continue to inspire those around you. You are our "unsung heros" and deserve all the recognition. Even though my little girl has stitches in her forehead and was hooked up to all sorts of different things, she's "all better now and has no bo-boo's", thanks to you guys. Thank you for everything.:redbeathe

Sorry your little one got hurt - but there was a silver lining in the day if it brought you inspiration. Congratulations on working toward your dream. You sound like you'll be a wonderful nurse. :redbeathe
