information about nurse midwives

I am 17 years old and I am looking into the nurse-midwife profession - please send information if you are a midwife or if you know anything about the profession i.e. salary, usage, etc

you might have much more luck there...

there are several points of entry into midwifery:

certified nurse midwifery---must be an RN first, BSN then go to formal nurse midwifery schooling at a university

lay midwifery---practicing more "in the field", you can get training/schooling and also learn from other lay midwives.

good school to check into Frontier Midwifery School--do a google search under this name and you will find it. VERY respected school!!!
