information needed...general salary info CNA's in hospitals?

Published

I have a question, I am thinking of taking a patient care technicen class and then hope to get hired as a PCT for hospitals in the metro detroit area.

I was just trying to see if the extra 6-7 hundred dollars the PCT course costs vs the CNA course is worth it....

does anyone know how much a CNA employed at a hospital in the metrodetroit area (like henry ford, beamont, botsford, providence, etc) makes hourly? How about a PCT?

Thanks!!

PCT class? I don't know about that, but if you are getting in a nursing program Beaumont, St. John, and Henry Ford will hire you and train you themselves without any experience (Assuming they are hiring). You'll also be getting paid while you are training instead paying to be trained.

Oh, and I think the pay range is in the $11-$13/hour range, but double check on that.

i'm still taking prereq's for nursing school.....
