Anyone from the East valley planning on attending the information meeting at Central AZ College on September 4th?

Where did you find that date? I thought they had them on Tuesdays? Curious because I want to attend as I am submitting my application for the October deadline and am taking my HESI that week.

The meeting time is found on-line under Central Arizona College - Nursing Program Information. 2nd paragraph states that the information meeting is held the first Thursday of each month at 2-3 PM in Room W-107.

I'm going to call to confirm that they are having the meeting 9/4.

I live at Warner & Rural.

Called the CAC Nursing Dept today. Was told that the nursing info meeting will be next Tuesday, August 26th at 2PM. Session runs for approx 1 hr.

I advised her that the info on the nursing website says the meetings will be held on the first Thurs' of the month. She said that info needs to be changed. :(

there is no more info sessions, they want you to see advising instead. I just spoke to nursing today at 1pm.

As it turned out, with some confusion, pre-nursing students were re-directed to advising. There are three advisors that have been trained in the pre-reqs for the nursing program. I was able to speak with "Veronica" over the phone, which saved me a trip.

I think they are still working out the "kinks" of their process.
