Specializes in neuro, critical care, open heart..

I am looking at taking a contract with Cirrus Medical Staffing. Does anyone have any experience with them? They seem to be good as for what I have read, but you know they could say anything to lure you in:chuckle Any advice would be very helpful.

The recruiter i'm currently working at Cirrus is very pleasant and responds to all my questions/concerns in a timely manner.* However, i just got my contract emailed to me today and it just seems that my pay is a little on the low side ($27/hr for a hospital in a suburb of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area).* I think i will try to negotiate a higher rate the next time i speak with them.* This is going to be my first traveling assignment and will be working in the ICU.*

I have worked with Cirrus on several assignments, and if I was still doing Travel Nursing, I would work with them again! I have no complaints whatsoever about them, during the time I worked with them In fact if this started doing Travel IT assignments I would work with them!

Always was able to contact my recruiter who is/was the VP of the agency, or even the president of the company. I traveled for over 12 years, and have worked with the best and the worse, and Cirrus is definitely the best in my book!

I've worked w/ Cirrus before; they aren't too bad. The pay is a little low, but the recruiters are very prompt and responsive. I would recommend them if the pay was a little better.

Specializes in NIH Stroke certified.

The pay in Texas is very low in general. I don't think it's the company also being cheap because your pay would likely be lower.

Specializes in pcu/stepdown/tele.

The pay in general right now is very low. Don't base your decisison on just the pay. Consider the benefits too. Do you get 1st day insurance, free insurance, offer 401K, that kind of thing. Any benefits you want, ask them about it ahead of time. That is something to take into consideration when accepting an assignment. Good luck! :)
