Where you work do you use an infant or a pediatric stethoscope on the babies?
I'm soon to be a graduate nurse and the unit I work on uses pediatric stethoscopes. I didn't know if one was better than the other?

Infant. But I'm hard of hearing. I use a Littman Cardiology III on peds/adults. I use a borrowed Littman infant on new people.

I prefer pediatric, as do all the NPs I work with. We have a neonatal steth floating around but I never see anyone use it.

I have an infant but rarely use it. It just sits in my work bag. I usually just use the steths on the unit which are pediatric ones :)
