I am in the last phase of LPN to BSN program at Indiana State University. I have had an awful time getting clinical sites. ISU is no help whatsoever. What I have discovered why most hospitals fwill not accept ISU students is that the responsibility falls onto the nurse recruiter/educator to fill out required paperwork before, during, and after clincal rotation. They feel they are not the instructor and also hospitals do not want to place just 1 student for some odd reason. If there are any other ISU students from Illinois in the program please contact me if you know of any possible sites. I am trying to obtain a site for ICU rotation and if I do not succeed within 1 week I have to drop it this semester which, prevents me from enrolling into other courses because this is a pre-req for my last 2 courses...ughh. My email is [email protected]. Do NOT enroll into this program it's awful!!!
