Independant Contractor Statistics??

Hi All,

I need some statistics as to how many nurses withing the nursing industry are considered to be independant contractors. I need some good sources for documentation purposes, any help would be appreciated. doubt that you'll find any really good numbers. any RN can be an independant contractor according to IRS rules. whether they choose to be employed or contract is probably impossible to find out. maybe the IRS can give stats???
