Okay right now with my two children it is easier for me to go to school online. so i am going to school for my associates in arts of health administration. Is this something that will help with my prerequisites for nursing school. I really hope so, because that is my ultimate goal is to be a NICU nurse. I know I have to take some hands on classes at an actual university.

I would check with my community college and start taking classes that are needed to obtain an associates of science degree. You can take a lot of classes on-line such as English, Psych., etc. your school would know better. I would also sign up for the nursing program if they have one because it can take a while to get into nursing programs. While you are waiting, you can take 1 class at a time either on-line or for a few hours a week at your local college. I am not sure that an associates of arts degree would apply to nursing.

Unless you are hoping to become an administrator at some point in your nursing career, personally I'd just start taking nursing prereqs instead. There are many online programs out there for nursing, check them out!
