Important Question Please Help About Tubes

Okay here it is my friend is doing home care and she is taking care of patient with a J and G tube.. The tubing came out of her stomach and she wants to know what to do.. She tired to put it back in but she couldnt tell if it was in the right place or not... My question is I know what a G-tube is and where it's place but can someone tell me what a J tube is? where is it placed? and if it falls out can you put it back yourself???

Thanks

We do not offer medical advice here, she needs to contact the patient's medical care provider, or her agency.
