Hi guys im currently gearing towards applying for permanent residency via state nomination to compensate for the 5 points im lacking because my experince fell short. Anyone here who did the same and got successful?I have already research each state on where to apply for nomination and NSW is the only one that does not require you to have lived in that state for a period of time or currently working in that state to be able to get a state nomination. One more thing even if it does not say in the NSW state nomination requirements the condition mentioned above, a friend said to me that she encountered someone who previously worked on approving the state nomination and she said that it is still better to have a proof that atleast you are currently working in nsw to get approved. I am really confused right now. If anyone here can shed a light to my queries it would be really great. I just need assurance that someone got auccessful applying for PR 190 visa via state nomination offsore. Thanks in advance!

Just a reminder that NSW State Sponsorship is CLOSED until July 2014.

NSW nomination doesn't rely solely on the published requirements or criteria. Because the state is sponsoring you, you have to prove that your intention is to stay on that state. Those who live and work in NSW has better chance of being nominated. But then, it's just PART of their assessment criteria.

Hi!Good day everyone and Happy New Year...I would like to ask about the Proof of Identity documents to submit. It seems that there is a new AGOS-40 and the proof of identity documents to be checked does not apply?..

I attached a link of the new AGOS 40:

http://www.ahpra.gov.au/documents/de...hZpamU2Q%3D%3D

How do we comply with these?..Thank you in advance.

I don't know what you mean by the proof of identity to be checked "does not apply".

You need to provide CERTIFIED COPIES of your identification documents such as passport, Birth Certificate, driver licence, etc.

Hi guys, how can I possibly contact embassy to follow-up regarding the status of my visa application? Can I directly email the e-add that sent my medical info (the one that contains HAP ID)? However, I think the e-add is generally used by all Au case officer (pls correct me if I am wrong). Also, can I ask feedback via calling their local number?

I'm here in the Philippines and it has been 6 weeks since I lodged it.

Thanks!

It's not for sponsorship/ nomination. Subclass visa 600 rather. Not yet on your status. I wish you good luck and God bless with your application :-)

Just got an email from my employer saying I got my nomination approved! Yay! Well, I don't really know how much longer do I have to wait until my visa comes through. But still, I'm glad I finally heard some good news~!

Hi guys. I have a question. I received a text message from PIASI that my documents/passport is ready for dispatched to the courier for delivery. Does it mean that my visa got approved already? (This is for subclass visa 600)

Thanks!

hi! When did you lodge your visa application? Yes I think so. That was the msg to me when my visa was approved. Do you have consultant or you applied on your own?

I lodged it on November 28, however, I have only accomplished my medical two weeks after because I did not know that I'll receive my hap ID via email (junk mail). I just applied on my own. Thanks for this forum. Really helped me a lot.. :-)

Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering what VISA is best that i will apply, I am going to apply Bridging Program in Australia College of Nursing which starts on August, but I want to be in Sydney already by June. I have read in most blogs that the 456 Visa is mostly used, but my concern of this visa is that it only is given a maximum of 3 monhts but I want a visa that could probably make me stay 6-12 months. What should I do?

Thanks
